Frenemies Drive Achievement: Keeping Your Competitors Close


In less digital days, every company put out tomes of literature about their products or services. Then, they tried in vain to prevent competitors from getting their hands on it. Naturally, preventing that from happening was next to impossible (and this was before web sites for a thing).

Today, we see a lot of our competitors at conventions and tradeshows, all over social media and online. There is little opportunity to hide from or avoid them. So they have become our frenemies. So how do we take advantage of having our rivals so up close and personal?

The transparency Good competition pushes you to bring your A Game. Don’t be afraid of what your competitors are doing. See it as an opportunity to identify what you are not doing and where you can strengthen the brand.
